Currently taking a well deserved break from the insanity of christmas at my mom's house, by hanging out alone in my dark apartment with a gigantic pan of garlicy white wine butter. All the mussels are gone, but damn, this sauce is fucking delicious. I clearly am better off drowning my sorrows in clarified seafood sauce and brie cheese than my usual whiskey pittance.

The fam got so drunk last night that aunt steffi beefed it on the stairs and royally fucked up her ankle. There were tears. There was spilled red wine on white clothing. There was a gigantic ham steak and like 20 lbs. of half baked brownies. I'm a little shocked I didn't immediately start my period after being around so many emotionally charged estrogen producers. Youngest and yet still driest member of the family, represent. I had to make up for it by being the man of the house and drilling and setting up the christmas tree, staple gunning the lights to the porch, and chopping fire wood. I'm officially the shortest man in the family.

Spera comic coming along very slowly. Due date rapidly approaching. Nothing done since last update except the layout and linework of the second page. I think it's probably because Palmer's been hanging around sooooo much, and all he wants to do is roll around on top of me and eat food and drink booze and take naps and make me watch East Bound & Down. Enjoyable, but certainly not productive.

Also I was playing some L4D2 earlier & I just found it amusing that all the med packs & pills at the finale reminded me of the prescription I forgot to pick up today. I was like * healing myself *  " OH SHI-, I forgot my prescription,lul. "

 Now, I know this happened about 2 days ago & I knew about it but I'm really shocked,she was so young. I'm honestly more shocked about Brittany's death than Micheal Jackson's.

She was so awesome & quirky, I'm gonna miss her.

 If I don't get to play L4D2 soon I think I might crack up I haven't played it for 3 DAYS. 'cause no one is there. FUCK A DUCK!

After begging the creator to let me be a part of it, I finally get to be a part of the cool online comic, Spera! Part 1 is released already, and Part 2 comes out early January. Part 2 is where I got wedged in, and I'm having a LOT of fun doing the pages for it. I've struck on a fun format for my part, and I sit in bed giggling as I edit, it's fucking great. There's a lot of cool artists already involved, and I'm really stoked to see the project to it's completion.

For the 19 years I've been on this planet & in this freezing cold country I have never had snow around Christmas time,to be honest I thought I'd never see it happen but today it did <3 It was beautiful.

I was in my room when my Mam shouts to me " Hazel? It's snowing! " & my face just lit up & I ran straight out to it like some child & it was so thick & pretty & the fact that I could see the Christmas tree all lit up through my living room window & all the decorations,it just added to the magic & I actually felt all warm & happy inside.

To be honest Christmas had really lost it's magic for me when I was about 16 for certain reasons but thanks to a bit of snow, the magic has come back now.

Okay, here's what's going on. Nikki and I are cracking down hard and almost done with the print version of Book Four. It will be up VERY VERY VERY SOON, I'm hoping within the next couple of days. I just checked Lulu's holiday shipping deadlines, and if you live in the states and use ground shipping (and we can get the book posted by tomorrow, which is my hope, but Nikki and I are both very busy so we are going to do our best), you will get the book by Christmas. If you use expedited shipping, you have until Dec. 18th to order. If you use express shipping, you can order until Dec. 21st.

I don't know that the omnibus will make it out in time for Christmas, but we're going to try really hard to at least make it available by the express shipping deadline. We still need to bang out the special features and cover for it.
