    <title>Halloween.</title>

    <content type="html">Yeah, I know I'm uber late, but I didn't get the photos from Chris's dad until just recently.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway!  Halloween for me was pretty super awesome.  I spend every year at Chris's house for halloween, and for the past 3 years, we've been doing kind of a Knott's Scary Farm/Haunted House kind of gimmick there.  That is, dress up in scary costumes and the scare the crap out of trick-or-treaters that come by looking for candy.  Well this year we went all out, with a whole theme and everything.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This year we went with a cemetary scene.  The front lawn was the cemetary area, hooked up with fog machines and a strobe light that made lightening sounds.  Then on the drive way was the table that Chris's mom, Becky, sets up every year that holds a cauldron filled with candy.  She decorates it up pretty bad ass too.  Then next to that were the prop coffins.  But one of them is real! :O  That's right, the weekend previous we built a real wooden, six foot coffin meant for a person to hide into.  Who was that person you ask?  Why it was me!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That brings us to the costumes, and the &amp;quot;actors&amp;quot; invovled during the display.  Becky sat at the candy table to great trick or treaters and was dressed up as a witch.  Chris was of course, a grave digger, and I was a lovely zombie.  The whole idea of our set up was basically this:  Trick-or-treaters would come up and get their candy.  Chris, as the grave digger would be roaming freely around the cemetary and the drive way serving as a distraction.  I would be hiding in the near by coffin, and when given the signal I jumped out and scared them all.  We got some kids pretty good too. :P&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our rule was to only scare the kids AFTER they got candy, because last year we scared people so good they wouldn't come up to the house AT ALL and we ended up with a lot of extra candy no one really wanted to eat.  But that happened this year anway. Six feet long.  Took two days.  The chains and skeletal arm were to make people think it was a decoration and not a useable prop.     <title>Star Trek: The Exhibition</title>

    <content type="html">&lt;a href="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/000093s1/"&gt;&lt;img height="240" width="320" border="0" src="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/000093s1/s320x240" alt="" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chris and I&amp;nbsp;visited Star Trek: The Exhibition in Hollywood over the weekend.&amp;nbsp; It's a touring exhibit of various authentic Star Trek things like, original set props, costumes, and ship models used in each series.&amp;nbsp; And it also features full scale replicas of the bridge, engine room, and sick bay of The Next Generation series, which was pretty rad to be in.&amp;nbsp; They also had photographers there to take pictures of you on the bridge and a green screen set that they would later print out for you if you bought them.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;also managed to sneak a couple of photos of the exhibit with my camera phone, even though it wasn't allowed. 8D&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="cutid1"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/0000acyd/"&gt;&lt;img height="238" width="320" border="0" src="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/0000acyd/s320x240" alt="" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So first we beamed aboard....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/0000b6w8/"&gt;&lt;img height="238" width="320" border="0" src="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/0000b6w8/s320x240" alt="" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had some fun taking command of the ship....     <content type="html">Yesterday I went with Chris to see an Angles game.&amp;nbsp; Although they kicked Mariner butt, I had the SUPAR SMRT idea to go without sunscreen when I'd be sitting for three hours in an open air stadium, dressed in a short sleeved baby doll shirt.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;even passed when a sunscreen vendor came down our isle.&amp;nbsp; Somehow I&amp;nbsp;thought my sheet white Scottish skin, which never tans, would hold up to the blazing California sun.&amp;nbsp; GENIUS.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now my face and arms are on fire. :C&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh well.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;still had fun.&amp;nbsp; Our seats were third row from the field, and Angles won 8-0.&amp;nbsp; Some drunk dude in a isle next to us managed to catch the attention of Endy Chavez (Mariners) when he was in the outfield, after screaming his name for like three innings. XD&amp;nbsp; When he looked over the guy shouted if he wanted to get a beer with him and Chavez made a gesture kind of like, &amp;quot;After the game.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; Don't blame him, it was like the ninth inning and they already lost.     <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Yeeeeaahhh.&amp;nbsp; Hey there everyone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So yeah, I've been MIA for the past couple of months, weather you noticed or not.&amp;nbsp; Apparently a few people on DA noticed, but I&amp;nbsp;doubt anyone will see this on LJ.&amp;nbsp; Anyway.&amp;nbsp; Yes.&amp;nbsp; I tend to have bad habits of taking long unannounced hiatuses for no reason.&amp;nbsp; A curse inherited from both my parents my dad tells me.&amp;nbsp; Apparently I take after them in the habit of accadently ignoring friends.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So why was I gone?&amp;nbsp; Meh, I was lazy.&amp;nbsp; Whatcha gonna do?&amp;nbsp; Yeah I&amp;nbsp;know that sounds really bad.&amp;nbsp; I'm not uncaring about my friends, I'm just inept at keeping them sometimes.&amp;nbsp; I just kind of needed a break from the internet I guess.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So apparently everything has been going to shit since I've been gone.&amp;nbsp; I go on the web to check up on some people, and it seems like most everyone's life is falling apart at the same time.&amp;nbsp; Yeah, it sucks.&amp;nbsp; I feel bad for everyone.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;feel bad that I haven't been here to help.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My own life feels like in some kind of limbo at the moment.&amp;nbsp; I'm in one of my weird moods where time has seemed to&amp;nbsp;stopped but the world is still somehow moving and I'm just floating about going from point A to B to C and so on.&amp;nbsp; I feel indifferent and uninspired,&amp;nbsp;plus I'm also really exhausted most of the time and just want to sleep.&amp;nbsp; Part of it I'm sure is cause I've been sick for the past 3 weeks, but I can't tell how much of it is from illness and how much is just me needing to up the dosage on my meds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Writing and drawing feels strange now.&amp;nbsp; I haven't felt moved to do it much, besides in my life drawing class or my fiction writing class.&amp;nbsp; I've done a little bit the past week or so, but it feels foriegn.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;should stop it at here.&amp;nbsp; It's 4:00 a.m. where I am right now, and I&amp;nbsp;should be sleeping.&amp;nbsp; I'll try to come back and update again.&amp;nbsp; And elaborate more on what I've been up to if I&amp;nbsp;still feel this way.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Have a wonderful day guys.&amp;nbsp; You're all beautiful.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">Taking medication to treat the symptoms of A.D.D. is good when you have A.D.D. but there is always an innate problem with the situation when one finds herself forgetting to take the medications that are supposed to help her remember things.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thus was the situation I&amp;nbsp;found myself in when I woke up at home yesterday after coming back from my boyfriend's house to realize I had left my meds there.&amp;nbsp; Thankfully my loved one was kind enough to make the 30 minute drive all the way to my house and drop them off for me today, much to my embarrassment and guilt, but also meant I&amp;nbsp;was without treatment for a day.&amp;nbsp; Which was annoying, but luckily they still seem to work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I guess I'll wish everyone a belated happy new year.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;hadn't uploaded in a while because my browser was being a douche, but I&amp;nbsp;fixed that now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How is everyone?&amp;nbsp;:)</content>

    <title>Dead Space.  YES.</title>

    <content type="html">With dismal failures and disappointments like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Alone In the Dark, Haze, Lair, and other seemingly big A-List games that were supposed to shake the ground of the gaming industry, instead only moving the stomachs of gamers at how nauseatingly bad they all were, I find myself easily growing cynical at the state of gaming innovation these days.  The coming of next gen consoles (which, let's be real, are really current gen by now) was supposed to bring with it a hope of earth shattering blockbuster titles.  True, there have been a few gems, but only a few - far too few compared to the enumeration of over-hyped titles out there now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I find myself swimming in a world of mediocre videos games under the pretense that they are actually worth a shit to play!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But what's this?&amp;nbsp; It seems the video game powers that be have given us (okay, maybe just me) a blessing.&amp;nbsp; Namely the video game powers of Electronic Arts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, never mind the fact that I&amp;nbsp;have considered EA the communists of the video game making industry (&lt;em&gt;&amp;quot;Lets build our company on buying the rights to franchises, and crap out a shit load of half assed games with short development times to make BIG BUCK$$$!!! Also, lets buy all the rights to creating ANY football game to eliminate competition and then sell the same game over and over again every year&amp;quot;&lt;/em&gt;).&amp;nbsp; This new title by them called Dead Space actually looks - dare I&amp;nbsp;say - good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now lets keep in mind, that yes, I&amp;nbsp;am a survival horror freak.&amp;nbsp; You know, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, F.E.A.R.; all that good stuff.&amp;nbsp; And this new game, Dead Space seems to have all the elements of a survival horror that I&amp;nbsp;have desperately yearned for.&amp;nbsp; Yes, I&amp;nbsp;love gore and being scared by creepy monsters but I don't want a horror game to just be about cheap, fan-servicing thrills.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like stated before, I love gore and scary creatures, but I&amp;nbsp;don't want to just see that and say &amp;quot;Hey cool! Look, blood and monsters!&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;want to actually be &lt;em&gt;repulsed&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em&gt;horrified&lt;/em&gt; by what I&amp;nbsp;see.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;want to be &lt;em&gt;moved&lt;/em&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes I want gore and dismemberment to be used to remind me that I am &lt;em&gt;human&lt;/em&gt;, that I&amp;nbsp;have feelings.&amp;nbsp; So when I&amp;nbsp;see a person being disembowled by a monster, or a grotesque creature that was once a man, I&amp;nbsp;want to gasp in horror and feel empathy for what's going on.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;love games that move me and test my morals and feelings.&amp;nbsp; It's what I&amp;nbsp;loved about F.E.A.R., but felt could do even more.&amp;nbsp; It's mostly why I&amp;nbsp;wanted to play Bioshock so badly, but sadly will not be able to unless I&amp;nbsp;get an Xbox, or a graphically capable computer.&amp;nbsp; Hopefully Dead Space will fill this void of mine.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, what I really love about this game is that you're not playing some super bad ass, hi-tech space soilder, like DOOM or F.E.A.R. or something.&amp;nbsp; You're a man with a regular job, at least within the universe of this game.&amp;nbsp; Issac is a miner. C:&amp;nbsp; An intergalactic space miner, to be sure, but he still has to use the regular tools he'd usually have with him to survive, and not souped-up space guns which is cool. C:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, only from video games will you get awesome terms like, &amp;quot;strategic dismemberment.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  &lt;lj-embed id="7" /&gt;  &lt;lj-embed id="8" /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's about time people realize that video games have become an art form in their own right.&amp;nbsp; That doesn't mean everything put out there is art - just like not all movies are considered great cinematic pieces of art - but it has become an art form requiring skill and innovation, and within it's media there are masterpieces.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;EDIT:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; I'm sure, just as I&amp;nbsp;talk about this, it's suddenly revealed the next day that Bioshock is being relased for PS3.&amp;nbsp; Well!&amp;nbsp; Looks like I might be able to play it after all!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  &lt;lj-embed id="9" /&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">My boyfriend found my wallet!&amp;nbsp; Turns out it was at his house.&amp;nbsp; He found it behind his computer desk, and he only found it cause he was cleaning his room.&amp;nbsp; And the wallet had a few teeth marks on it, which means it probably got there because one his cats, Kaylie, the youngest kitten in his house likes to take random things in her mouth and walk off with them.&amp;nbsp; She's done this before with some money of mine once, dragging it off to his parent's room.&amp;nbsp; :P&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, important thing is my wallet is found and I'm going over to see my boyfriend tomorrow so I&amp;nbsp;don't have to worry about possible identity theft, or late voter's registration or anything!&amp;nbsp; Yay! 8D</content>

    <content type="html">Sorry, I&amp;nbsp;haven't been online in a good while.&amp;nbsp; I've been really busy with school, but mostly it has to do with the fact that I've been sick for a couple of days now. :(&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm a little sad because i decided to stay home from school for two days because I&amp;nbsp;felt really icky, but this means I'm going to have to drop one of my classes cause that absence definitely means I&amp;nbsp;failed it.&amp;nbsp; I'll just have to make up the credits again another semester.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also I'm little worried because I&amp;nbsp;don't know if I'll be able to register to vote in time. :C&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;need my ID to register, but it's in my wallet which has been missing for a couple of weeks now.&amp;nbsp; I've looked all over my house and can't find it, which means it's probably at my boyfriend's house.&amp;nbsp; And if I&amp;nbsp;can't find it there, then I'm really fucked. D8&amp;nbsp; Not just for registering, but for everything else, cause that wallet has everything in there, my ID, my debit card, my insurance card, and other stuff that has important information on it, so I&amp;nbsp;really hope it's not lost somewhere in some public place. &amp;gt;_&amp;gt;;;;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I'm just stuck here in my house all day, being sick with nothing to do, so if anyone wants to go online ( HAZEL!! C: )&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Edit:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; I'm sorry I&amp;nbsp;just have to point out some rather laughable notions from Americans I've come across while reading some of the responses to this Writer's Block.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is obviously a confusion between the term &amp;quot;right&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;privilege.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; One's rights are the natural and unalienable facts all people are born with: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.&amp;nbsp; Which means you have the freedom to do as you please, so long as they don't inflict on anyone else's rights, and the government protects these rights.&amp;nbsp; It doesn't mean the government is supposed to provide happiness for you, it means you are allowed to seek happiness under the government's protection of that right of yours.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Privileges aren't things your are born a right to, but granted to.&amp;nbsp; It doesn't mean that certain people are not allowed to have it but that it is an available service to those who seek it.&amp;nbsp; It's like you have the privilege to buy Doritos, but you don't own a &amp;quot;right&amp;quot; to have Doritos.&amp;nbsp; Jefferson didn't write in the Declaration that people are born to the right of &amp;quot;Life, Liberty, and Universal Healthcare.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; Health care is merely a provided service for people's benefit.&amp;nbsp; Something you have access to, but not something the government is required to give.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To imply that those who see health care as a privilege don't think that everyone is entitled to it is absurd.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;think that everyone should have health care, and wish that it was easily available to everyone, but I&amp;nbsp;don't think it's the government's job to be monopolizing upon it and handing it out.&amp;nbsp; Set aside the fact I detest the idea of paying for someone else's health care when they might not even be using it.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;believe there are more effective methods of making quality health care more affordable to people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And as a last note, a response to this topic I&amp;nbsp;read turned to the preamble of the United States Constitution as justification for the &amp;quot;right&amp;quot; to health care: &amp;quot;We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, &lt;strong&gt;promote the general Welfare&lt;/strong&gt;....&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Promote&lt;/em&gt; the general welfare.&amp;nbsp; Not &lt;em&gt;provide.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/em&gt;If health care is supposedly a &amp;quot;right&amp;quot; you have your government give you, then does that mean the government also provides you with Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You are &lt;em&gt;born&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;with your rights.&amp;nbsp; That is why the government &lt;em&gt;protects&lt;/em&gt; them, not &lt;em&gt;give&lt;/em&gt; them to you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">Listen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My boyfriend (Chris) has a cousin by the name of Brian.&amp;nbsp; And he has a girl named Kathy that he's been with for 7 or 8 or so years.&amp;nbsp; They live far north up the state from me, but I've met both of them on several occasions and I'm really fond of both of them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found out earlier today from Chris that the two just recently got married.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I'm super happy about that.     <content type="html">&lt;a name="cutid1"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://pics.livejournal.com/happyfunpants/pic/00005g85" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;LAWLZ.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;nbsp;don't know.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;thought it was funny.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="cutid2"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Is this the start of a new affair with slashy Bully art with me?&amp;nbsp; It's a high possibility.&amp;nbsp; I've never really considered myself a slash artist, but images have popped in my head recently.&amp;nbsp; A reason why I&amp;nbsp;wanted to start this LJ was to have a place to keep slash art separate from the rest of my DA if &amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;decided to start doing it.&amp;nbsp; And also a place to keep more mature art that otherwise I&amp;nbsp;couldn't showcase on DA.&amp;nbsp; If I&amp;nbsp;continue with this that is.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;nbsp;don't know, if I&amp;nbsp;do decided to start doing Bully slash art, some would most likely be of a mature rating.&amp;nbsp; Not porn, I'd keep it tasteful, but definitely of adult content.&amp;nbsp; I've had a few ideas.&amp;nbsp; What do you guys think?&amp;nbsp; What level of content are you guys comfortable with in slash art?&lt;br /&gt;</content>
